The key points of storage management of 4WE10 solenoid reversing valve are as follows:

Storage environment requirements

Temperature control: Store in a dry, well-ventilated environment and avoid extreme temperatures. If nitrile rubber seal is used, the medium temperature range is -30℃ to +80℃; for fluororubber seal, it is -20℃ to +80℃. Ambient temperatures outside this range may accelerate seal aging or cause material deformation.

Humidity control: Keep the storage area dry to prevent the humid environment from causing the insulation performance of the electromagnet coil to decrease or the metal parts to rust. If stored for a long time, it is recommended to apply anti-rust oil to the metal surface and wrap it with plastic film to prevent dust.

Dust and anti-corrosion measures

Sealing protection: Ensure that all interfaces of the valve body are closed during storage to prevent dust and impurities from entering the internal channels. Special dust caps or tape can be used to seal the oil ports (P, A, B, T) and electrical interfaces.

Media isolation: If there are corrosive gases (such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide) in the storage environment, the valve needs to be placed in a closed container and filled with dry nitrogen for protection to prevent seals (such as nitrile rubber, fluorine rubber) from being corroded.

Installation and handling precautions

Vertical installation requirements: If temporary installation testing is required, it must be installed strictly in the vertical direction to ensure that the medium flow direction is consistent with the arrow mark on the valve body to avoid seal failure caused by reverse pressure difference.

Handling specifications: Avoid severe vibration or collision during handling to prevent displacement or damage of valve cores, springs and other precision components. It is recommended to use special packaging boxes and fill them with cushioning materials (such as foam plastic).

Long term storage and maintenance

Regular inspection: Check the appearance of the valve body every 6 months to confirm that there is no corrosion, aging of seals or oil leakage. If the sealing ring is found to be hardened or cracked, it must be replaced in time.

Action test: Before reactivation after long-term storage, a partial stroke test (PST) is required to verify whether the valve response accuracy and stroke deviation are within the allowable range (usually ≤0.1mm). The valve core switching flexibility can be tested through the manual emergency operation function.

Power supply stability: If the power supply is connected during storage, ensure that the voltage is stable (such as 220V AC ±10%) to avoid voltage fluctuations that may cause the coil to overheat or burn out. It is recommended to equip with overvoltage protection device.

Storage recommendations for special conditions

High-pressure environment: If the storage environment pressure is close to the rated pressure of the valve (such as 31.5MPa), the inspection cycle needs to be shortened to 3 months, and the focus is on monitoring the wear of the seals.

Low-temperature environment: When storing in an environment below -30°C, low-temperature-resistant seals (such as fluororubber) must be used and preheated to room temperature before use to prevent embrittlement of the seals and leakage.
