The precautions for using the 4WE6 high-pressure solenoid directional valve are as follows:


Preparation before installation:

Model check: Before installation, the model and specifications of the solenoid valve need to be carefully checked to ensure that they are consistent with the system design requirements, including working pressure, flow, voltage and other parameters.

Appearance inspection: Check whether there is any damage to the appearance of the solenoid valve, such as cracked shell, damaged coil, etc., to ensure that the solenoid valve is intact.

Pipe cleaning: Clean the inside of the pipe connecting the solenoid valve to remove impurities, rust, welding slag and other foreign matter to prevent impurities from entering the solenoid valve and causing the valve core to jam or seal loosely.

Installation location selection: Choose a dry, well-ventilated location that is convenient for operation and maintenance to install the solenoid valve. Avoid installing it in places with strong vibration, impact, or close to heat sources.

Things to note during installation:

Installation direction: Install strictly according to the fluid flow direction marked on the solenoid valve shell, ensuring that the medium flows in from the inlet end and flows out from the outlet end. Wrong installation direction may cause the solenoid valve to not work properly or be damaged.

Pipe connection: According to the interface type of the solenoid valve (such as threaded connection, flange connection, etc.), use appropriate tools and sealing materials for pipe connection. When connecting with threads, an appropriate amount of sealing tape (such as raw material tape) needs to be wrapped around the threads; when connecting with flanges, gaskets must be installed correctly and the bolts must be tightened evenly to ensure a tight connection without leakage.

Vertical installation: The solenoid valve should be installed vertically upward to avoid installation in places with direct dripping or splashing water to prevent moisture from entering the solenoid valve and affecting its normal operation.

Fixing screws: Use fixing screws that comply with the size and tensile strength specified in the sample, and tighten them according to the specified tightening torque to ensure that the solenoid valve is installed securely.

Electrical connection and debugging:

Power supply confirmation: According to the rated voltage of the solenoid valve, confirm that the power supply voltage provided matches it, paying attention to the type of power supply (DC or AC) and polarity (for DC power supply).

Wire connection: Open the junction box of the solenoid valve, correctly connect the power cord to the corresponding terminal according to the wiring diagram, ensure that the wiring is firm, and avoid false connections that may lead to poor contact, heat or even damage to the solenoid valve. After the connection is completed, close the junction box cover to prevent moisture, dust, etc. from entering.

Manual operation inspection: Before powering on, manually operate the manual button of the solenoid valve (if there is one) to check whether the valve core is flexible and whether there is any sticking phenomenon. After the manual operation is normal, perform power-on debugging.

Power-on test: Turn on the power, observe the action of the solenoid valve, and listen for any abnormal sounds, such as buzzing or jamming, when the solenoid valve operates. Check whether the opening and closing of the solenoid valve is smooth, and whether the opening and closing status of the valve is consistent with the control signal.

Pressure and flow test: introduce the medium into the system, check the working condition of the solenoid valve under different pressure and flow conditions, and ensure that the solenoid valve can work normally within the specified pressure and flow range without leakage.

Maintenance and maintenance during use:

Avoid frequent opening and closing: Avoid frequently opening and closing the solenoid valve, because too frequent actions may shorten the service life of the solenoid valve.

Pay close attention to the operating status: During operation, pay close attention to the operating status of the system, such as changes in parameters such as pressure and flow. If an abnormality is found, the operation should be stopped in time and the cause should be checked.

Adjust the opening slowly: For solenoid valves with adjustment functions, adjust the opening slowly to avoid excessive system pressure fluctuations caused by too fast adjustment.

Periodic visual inspection: Periodically inspect the appearance of the solenoid valve for signs of leakage, damage, or corrosion. If the casing is found to be damaged, it should be replaced or repaired in time to prevent the problem from worsening.

Cleaning and maintenance: Regularly clean the dust and debris on the surface of the solenoid valve to keep it clean. Parts that may accumulate impurities after long-term use, such as the inlet filter (if any), must be disassembled and cleaned to ensure smooth media flow.

Performance testing: Regularly test the performance of the solenoid valve, such as checking whether the valve's opening and closing time, leakage and other parameters are within the specified range. If performance degradation is found, repairs or parts should be replaced in time.

Coil inspection: Check the insulation performance of the electromagnetic coil to prevent the coil from burning due to poor insulation. You can use an insulation resistance tester for testing. If the insulation resistance value is too low, you need to further check the cause and take corresponding measures.

Troubleshooting and safety:

Immediately cut off the power supply and medium supply: If the solenoid valve fails during use, such as it cannot be opened or closed, leakage is serious, etc., the power supply and medium supply should be cut off immediately to ensure safety and prevent the failure from expanding.

Troubleshooting: According to the fault phenomenon, possible causes are gradually investigated. Common fault causes include coil damage, stuck valve core, aging or damaged seals, pipe blockage, etc. The fault point can be determined by measuring the coil resistance, checking the valve core action, observing the sealing part, etc.

Repair or replace: Take corresponding maintenance measures according to the cause of the fault. If the coil is damaged, you can replace it with a new one; if the valve core is stuck, you can try to clean or repair the valve core; if the seal is damaged, you need to replace the seal.

Double solenoid solenoid valve interlocking: For double solenoid solenoid valves, the two electromagnets cannot be energized at the same time. When designing the electronic control system of hydraulic equipment, the actions of the two electromagnets should be interlocked to prevent abnormal situations from burning out the electromagnets and electronic control components.
