The MSA type speed control valve is a flow control valve used in hydraulic systems. The following is a detailed introduction from the aspects of structural principles, technical parameters, application fields, etc.:

1. Structure and working principle

Structural composition: The MSA type speed control valve consists of a pressure reducing valve and a throttle valve in series, and belongs to a two-way flow control valve.

Working principle: After the oil enters the speed control valve, it first passes through the pressure reducing valve to reduce pressure, and then throttles through the throttle valve.

The pressure reducing valve compensates the throttle valve to keep the pressure difference between the front and rear of the throttle valve constant, thereby eliminating the impact of load changes on the flow rate.

The flow rate of the speed control valve is adjusted within 120° through the handle. After the flow rate is adjusted, the handle position can be fixed by the clamping knob, and the flow value is displayed from the dial.

2. Technical parameters

Diameter: 30mm

Flow adjustment range: Depending on the model, the flow rate can reach 160L/min, 250L/min, 300L/min, etc.

Media: Mineral hydraulic oil

Media temperature: -20℃ to 70℃

Media viscosity: 2.8mm²/s to 380mm²/s

Minimum pressure difference: 0.5MPa to 1MPa (related to flow rate)

3. Model and specifications

Common models: MSA-01-X-50, MSA30EP-160L, MSA30EP-250L, MSA30EP-300L, etc.

Specification features: Diameter: Generally 30mm, and other diameter specifications are available

Flow: Depending on the model, the flow range ranges from tens of liters per minute to hundreds of liters per minute.

Temperature range: Applicable medium temperature is generally -20℃ to 70℃, and some models can be expanded to -20℃ to 80℃

Industrial field: used in material conveying systems, water treatment equipment, boilers, air compressors, etc., to control the parameters such as material conveying speed, temperature, and pressure.

Agricultural field: In sprinkler irrigation systems and drip irrigation systems, the good growth and healthy development of crops can be achieved by regulating water flow and pressure.

Construction field: used in building automation control systems, such as air conditioning systems, water supply systems, water supply and drainage systems, etc., to realize flow regulation and control

Pressure compensation: Pressure compensation for the throttle valve through the pressure reducing valve, so that the flow rate is not affected by the change of load pressure and maintain the working speed stable

Flow adjustment: The flow is adjusted by the handle within 120° range. After the flow is adjusted, the handle position can be fixed by the clamping knob, and the flow value is displayed from the dial.

Optional configuration: The pressure reducing valve can be selected whether to have a stroke regulator to meet different working conditions.

VI. Use and Maintenance

Installation: Make sure the installation surface is flat and use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts according to the specified torque

Use: Avoid system pressure exceeding the product rating, check the cleanliness of oil regularly, and prevent impurities from entering the valve body

Maintenance: Check the sealing performance of the valve body regularly, clean the valve body surface, and prevent oil stains from accumulation
