The installation of the stacked relief valve must follow a standardized process, combined with the design requirements of the hydraulic system, and ensure its stable performance through standardized operations. The following are the specific installation methods and key steps:
1. Preparation before installation
environment and tools
Ensure that the installation environment is dry, dust-free, and well ventilated to prevent impurities from entering the hydraulic system.
Prepare tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, seals, pipes, etc. and check their integrity.
Parts inspection
Check whether the certificate of qualification, operating instructions and spare parts of the stacked relief valve are complete.
Confirm that the valve body has no packaging damage or foreign matter, the oil port has not been opened, and all components are tightly connected without leakage.
Clean the valve body and connecting parts with kerosene to remove oil dirt and impurities.
System matching
Confirm that the model, diameter and parameters (such as pressure regulation range) of the superimposed relief valve are consistent with the design requirements of the hydraulic system.
Check the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil. Contamination particles must meet ISO 4406 grade requirements (usually ≤18/16/13).
2. Installation sequence and steps
Basic installation
Install a stable base plate that can withstand the weight and pressure of the liquid and allow space for maintenance.
The base plate needs to be sealed and dust-proof to prevent impurities from entering the oil circuit.
Valve body stacking
Sequence principle: Determine the order of valve body stacking according to functional requirements, usually 'basic base plate → pressure valve/pressure reducing valve → directional valve (such as electromagnetic reversing valve) → flow valve (throttle valve, etc.) → actuator connecting plate'.
Hydraulic control check valve: must be placed on the bottom layer (close to the base plate) to prevent pressure maintenance failure.
Stacking method: Place the O-ring side of the stacking valve toward the base plate to ensure that the oil holes are aligned without misalignment. Use grade 12.9 high-strength extension bolts to penetrate all valve bodies, pre-tighten them in diagonal order, and finally tighten them to the specified torque (for example, M10 bolt torque is about 80-100 N·m).
Pipe connection
Check whether the pipe interface size and pressure level meet the requirements, and use oil-resistant gaskets (such as polytetrafluoroethylene) to connect the flanges.
Ensure that the pipeline is free of impurities such as welding slag and metal shavings to avoid clogging or scratching the valve body.
Electrical wiring
When stacking solenoid reversing valves, the coils must be installed vertically upward or horizontally to avoid jamming caused by inversion.
Reserve space for electrical wiring to avoid bending or stressing cables.
3. Debugging and testing
Pressure regulation
Loosen the lock nut, turn the pressure adjustment screw clockwise to increase the pressure, adjust to the required pressure of the system and tighten the lock nut.
Note that the minimum regulating pressure must be equal to the sum of the minimum regulating pressure characteristic value and the back pressure at the valve outlet.
Functional testing
Start the hydraulic system and check whether the stacked relief valve is working properly and there is no leakage, vibration or noise.
Test whether the movement speed of the actuator meets the design requirements and verify the throttle valve adjustment effect.
Overload protection verification
Parallel overload valve limits the locking pressure and automatically drains oil when overpressure occurs to ensure system safety.
4. Precautions
Safe operation
During the installation process, avoid pinching or burning your hands or other parts and wear protective equipment.
Make sure the system is powered off before performing electrical wiring operations.
Tightness check
After installation, check whether all O-rings and flange connections are intact to avoid hydraulic oil leakage.
Regular maintenance
Regularly check the working status of the stacked relief valve, clean out impurities, and replace aging seals.
Record the pressure adjustment value and system operating parameters to facilitate troubleshooting.
