The use of 4WE6 high-pressure solenoid directional valve is as follows:

1. Preparation before installation

Check solenoid valve

Confirm that there is no damage to the appearance (such as shell rupture, coil damage), and the model specifications are consistent with the design requirements, including working pressure, flow, voltage and other parameters.

Check the nameplate parameters (such as nominal pressure, diameter, voltage type) to ensure they match the actual working conditions.

Clean ducts

Clean the inside of the connecting pipes to remove impurities, rust, welding slag and other foreign matter to prevent the valve core from jamming or loose sealing.

It is recommended to flush the pipeline under 0.3MPa pressure to ensure the purity of the medium.

Select installation location

Install in a dry, well-ventilated place that is easy to operate and maintain.

Avoid strong vibrations, shocks, or close to heat sources, and stay away from low recesses in pipes and container discharge pipes.

If the medium may cause water hammer, you need to select a model with waterproof hammer function or take preventive measures.

2. Installation steps

Determine the installation direction

Install strictly according to the medium flow direction marked on the valve body (usually marked with an arrow or '→') to ensure that the inlet end flows in and the outlet end flows out.

For vacuum tubes or special working conditions, please refer to the instruction manual to adjust the direction.

Connect pipes

Select appropriate tools and sealing materials based on interface type (e.g. thread, flange):

Threaded connection: Wrap appropriate amount of sealing tape (such as raw material tape) to ensure good sealing.

Flange connection: Install gaskets correctly and tighten bolts evenly to avoid leaks.

It is recommended to use plate connection to reduce pressure loss and improve flow capacity.

Electrical connection

Confirm that the power supply voltage matches the rated voltage of the solenoid valve (such as DC 24V, AC 220V), and pay attention to the power supply type (DC/AC) and polarity.

Open the junction box and connect the power cord to the corresponding terminal according to the wiring diagram. Make sure the wiring is firm to avoid heat or damage caused by false connections.

After the connection is completed, cover the junction box to prevent moisture and dust from entering.

3. Debugging and testing

Manual operation check

If the solenoid valve is equipped with a manual button, operate it manually before turning on the power to check whether the valve core is flexible and whether there is any sticking.

Power on test

Turn on the power and observe the action of the solenoid valve:

Listen for any abnormal sounds (such as buzzing, stuttering).

Check whether the opening/closing is smooth and whether the status is consistent with the control signal.

Pressure and flow testing

Introduce the medium and test the working conditions under different pressures and flows to ensure normal operation within the specified range and no leakage.

If problems such as insufficient flow and unstable pressure are found, check the valve opening, pipe blockage, or abnormal system pressure.

4. Operation precautions

Avoid frequent opening and closing

Frequent actions will shorten the life of the solenoid valve. It is recommended to set the opening and closing frequency reasonably according to the working conditions.

Monitor system parameters

Pay close attention to changes in parameters such as pressure and flow, and stop the machine immediately for inspection if any abnormalities are found.

Adjust the opening slowly

For solenoid valves with adjustment functions, adjustments must be made slowly to avoid excessive fluctuations in system pressure.

5. Maintenance and maintenance

Check appearance regularly

Check for signs of leakage, damage or corrosion, and replace or repair damaged parts promptly.

Cleaning and maintenance

Regularly clean the dust and debris on the surface of the solenoid valve and keep it clean.

Disassemble and clean the inlet filter (if any) to ensure smooth media flow.

Performance testing

Regularly check valve opening/closing time, leakage and other parameters to ensure they are within the specified range.

Use an insulation resistance tester to check the insulation performance of the coil to prevent the coil from burning due to poor insulation.

Troubleshooting

Fault phenomenon: unable to open/close, serious leakage, etc.

Processing steps:

Cut off the power and media supply immediately to ensure safety.

To troubleshoot the cause of the fault (such as coil damage, valve core stuck, seal aging, etc.), you can locate the problem by measuring the coil resistance, checking the valve core movement, observing the sealing part, etc.

Take maintenance measures according to the cause (such as replacing the coil, cleaning the valve core, replacing seals, etc.).
