A two-way speed control valve is a valve used to regulate the flow of fluid (hydraulic oil or gas) to control the movement speed of the actuator (such as a hydraulic cylinder or cylinder). Its core function is to achieve precise control of fluid flow and direction by changing the valve opening, and it is widely used in engineering machinery, metallurgical equipment, packaging machinery and other fields. 1. Working principle

The bidirectional speed control valve is usually composed of a throttle valve and a pressure compensation device. Its working principle is based on the synergistic effect of throttle speed control and pressure compensation:

Throttle speed regulation: By regulating the valve opening, the flow area of fluid passing through the valve is changed, thereby controlling the flow magnitude. The greater the opening of the throttle valve opening, the greater the flow rate, the faster the actuator speed; otherwise, the slower it is.

Pressure compensation: When the load changes or the inlet pressure fluctuates, the pressure compensation device automatically adjusts the pressure difference at both ends of the throttle valve to keep it constant. In this way, the flow rate is only related to the valve opening degree, but not to the load and pressure, ensuring speed stability.

2. Structure and Type

Two-way speed control valves can be divided into many types according to their structure and working mode:

By fluid type: Hydraulic speed control valve: used in hydraulic systems, adjust hydraulic oil flow, and control the speed of hydraulic cylinder or motor.

Pneumatic speed control valve: used in pneumatic systems, adjust gas flow, and control the speed of cylinders or pneumatic motors.

According to the connection method: Plate connection: The valve is connected to the pipe through a flange or plate interface, suitable for fixed installation.

Pipe connection: The valve is welded or threaded to the pipe, suitable for occasions where space is limited.

According to the control method: Manual speed control valve: adjust the valve opening through manual knob or handle.

Automatic speed control valve: Integrate sensors and controllers to automatically adjust the valve opening according to system feedback.

Bidirectional speed control valves are widely used in many fields:

Construction machinery: such as excavators, cranes, etc., used to control the speed of hydraulic cylinders and ensure the smooth operation of the equipment.

Metallurgical equipment: In steel rolling mills, continuous casting machines and other equipment, it is used to regulate the flow rate and pressure of the hydraulic system.

Packaging machinery: In filling machines, sealing machines and other equipment, it is used to control the speed of the cylinder and improve packaging accuracy.

Automated production line: used to control the speed of actuators such as conveyor belts and robots to achieve precise control.
